Handling, Storage And Use
Handling, Storage and Use
-
What should I inspect before use?Check cartons and products for contamination, deformation, cracks, sharp damage, incorrect labels, color variation or loss of functional fit. Isolate questionable material and contact us with the batch, carton label, photos and affected quantity.
-
Can packaging be cleaned or reused?Unless the product is specifically designed and validated for reuse, treat it as single-use packaging. Cleaning chemicals, heat and mechanical stress can change dimensions, appearance or performance. Any reuse program must be evaluated for the application and applicable regulations.
-
How should ESD or anti-static packaging be handled?Keep ESD products in the specified protective packing and controlled environment. Do not mix them with ordinary trays or expose them to contamination, cleaning agents or conditions that may change electrical properties. Confirm the required resistance range, test method and shelf-life expectations in the specification.
-
Can food packaging be used in a microwave, freezer or hot-fill application?Only when the specific material and product have been approved for that use. Do not assume all PP, PET or other plastic products have the same temperature rating. Confirm the intended food type, contact time and temperature before ordering, and follow local regulations.
-
Should cartons be conditioned before use?If products arrive from very hot or cold transport conditions, allow sealed cartons to reach the normal operating environment before opening. This helps reduce condensation, static changes and dimensional effects.
-
How should plastic packaging be stored?Keep products in their original protective packaging in a clean, dry and ventilated indoor area. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, dust, chemicals, excessive heat, freezing conditions and large temperature swings. Do not stack cartons above the approved load.
