Quality checks may cover incoming material, dimensions, appearance, fit, stacking, cleanliness, packing and pre-shipment inspection. Project-specific inspection criteria should be defined in the approved specification or quality agreement.

RPET and other recycled-content materials can be evaluated where performance and regulations permit. Weihan also uses an internal closed-loop system to recover suitable production offcuts. Sustainability claims, recycled-content percentages and certification scope must be confirmed for each material and order.

Options may include transparent, translucent, solid-color, anti-static and custom-color materials. Surface appearance can be affected by resin batch, recycled content, texture, thickness and forming conditions. Color standards and acceptable variation should be agreed before production.

Material thickness is selected according to load, rigidity, forming depth, stacking and protection requirements. Formed-part thickness may vary across deep or complex geometries. Critical dimensions and tolerances should be identified on the drawing before tooling. Weihan can control industrial-grade tolerances to ±0.1 mm where the geometry, material and process allow, subject to technical review.

Depending on the design and volume, we can evaluate thermoforming, vacuum forming, pressure forming, folding and injection-molded solutions. The selected process affects tooling, unit cost, wall distribution, detail definition and production efficiency.

PP is commonly selected for toughness and heat resistance; PET and RPET offer clarity and strong presentation; PS provides rigidity and forming efficiency; PVC may suit selected clear packaging applications; ABS and thicker sheet materials can support demanding industrial uses. Material suitability must always be verified against the packed product, operating temperature and market requirements.
